X7 Phenom bullpup?

Postby Orgasmotron on Sun Jan 31, 2010 1:25 am

Hey, how come no one has said this yet? With the advances the Phenom has (aparently, I don't actually own one) a bullpup version would kick ass. Only hurdle I can foresee would be the linkage for the mechanical trigger. I would really love to get a Phenom, but I love my B-5 & the bullpup style. Darn tippmann, they keep coming out with stuff I want, but I know I hafta wait til the bugs are worked out, or the REALLY cool mods are available.

I guess I will answer the question with a question: How many of you guys would love to see a Bullpup Phenom??

I have a Phenom that I am very pleased with. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if there were a bullpup mod for it :)

The Phenom is so friggin heavy with the extra cosmetics on the shelll- if you do a B7P, I vote for a polymer body that the Phenom internals swap into, like your early B5 design. While you're at it, give it a magwell option to accept Milsig mags.

Yeah, I do not know why they molded that thin magwell into the X7 Phenom....it limits you in so many ways as far as milsiming goes!

Also, if you do a new receiver molding, instead of an X7, how about a TPX bullpup? The internals are similar, but the base marker is a lot cheaper. Just extend the trigger actuator link to make a mechanical linkage trigger. Make the receivers so you can install the chamber/barrel adapter sideways for RipClip feed, up for center feed, or down for (Milsig) mag feed.

And this time, SCREW THE FLATLINE!!!

that or make a regular one that doesnt support flatline and one that does. that way if you know you want a flatline you just order that model. or something of that nature would be cool
